The Princely Treasury, a branch of the Bavarian National Museum, has been housed in the north wing of the Classicist stables since 1998. Outstanding pieces from the Princely collections of 17th to 19th-century art are on display here. High-quality furniture, fine porcelain, valuable snuff boxes, exquisite weapons and precious objects made of silver and gold from Europe’s pre-eminent art studios transport visitors into the world and splendour of one of the most important dynasties in European aristocracy.
