The House of Taxis was widely credited with ‘inventing the modern postal system’ in 1490. And although we are no longer involved with the Post Office, the Princely House of Thurn und Taxis of His Serene Highness Prince Albert II is still a richly traditional family business with a deep awareness of its roots. The company and its approximately 100 employees are managed by H.S.H. Princess Maria Gloria of Thurn und Taxis.
