The court library published a richly illustrated, colour brochure to mark the 100th anniversary. Six authors shed light on the post-First World War period in Regensburg and the efforts of the House of Thurn und Taxis, especially Prince Albert I and his wife Princess Margarete, to ease hardship in the city. A free three-course meal has been served to the needy for 100 years, so around eight million over the course of a century. The articles provide exciting and varied insight into the eventful history of the Princely soup kitchens.
